2026 SCOLT/FLANC/SCFLTA/SEALLT Conference
Conference Schedule
Thursday, March 19 is a pre-conference day that includes optional workshops and invitation only events. Friday and Saturday, March 20-21, are the regular conference days. There are 10 rounds of sessions over the two conference days. The Opening General Session, which includes SCOLT Awards and the ACTFL Teacher of the Year keynote address, is Friday morning. See the schedule here. A schedule of sessions will be posted in January.
Program Cover Contest
Each year the artwork for the conference program guide is designed by a student. There are so many talented young artists! Have your students submit artwork for the program cover. The student whose artwork is selected receives $50 and the student’s teacher receives a free SCOLT Sponsor membership.

Awards and Scholarships
All award nomination and scholarship application forms are now available! Nominate a colleague for the Leadership or Educator of Excellence Awards! If you are looking for a way to travel and study during the summer, check out the teacher travel scholarships available for Spanish, French, and German teachers. There are also student scholarships for high school seniors and college students who want to become language teachers! See the Awards and Scholarships page for more information and links to all forms.
Call for Proposals
The session proposal window ended October 13. Submitters will be notified in early November.
Conference Location
The 2026 conference will be held at the Hilton Raleigh North Hills in Raleigh, NC, March 19-21. The conference rate is $169/night plus taxes/fees. This rate is valid until February 16, 2026, or until the SCOLT room block is full, which will occur before February 16. Don’t miss your chance to stay at the conference hotel!

2025 SCOLT/TWLTA/SEALLT Conference
The 2025 SCOLT/TWLTA/SEALLT conference in Nashville, TN was a huge success! It was great to celebrate SCOLT’s 60th anniversary with everyone who attended. Thank you to all participants who made the event the best it could be. The great learning, camaraderie, and collaboration were evident throughout the event and the location was perfect. 2026 Conference Registration Rates

Registration (includes Friday lunch and coffee/snack breaks):
- $190 Presenter/SCOLT Sponsor or Patron
- $215 Regular Attendee registration
- $90 Full-time student/”Best of” state presenters
- $165 Saturday only

- $230 Presenter/SCOLT Sponsor or Patron
- $255 Regular Attendee registration
- $130 Full-time student/”Best of” state presenters
Other Rates
- $50 In-person optional workshops
- $250 On-site registration, no lunch included
Note: Substitutions cannot be made for conference registration. If you register and later determine you cannot attend, you cannot pass your registration to another person. The cancelation policy is explained on the registration form.
